Sassigraphy with live bauble personalisation: Have your own bauble personalised on market day by maker and master calligrapher Sarah who specialises in modern calligraphy. Combining her beautiful cursvive writing with Liberty fabrics and marbled papers, she creates the most special selection of products, from notebooks to candles, and her best-selling Christmas decorations which can be personalised with your choice of name or date. Such a thoughtful gift!
Dogs by Jeff pet portraits: If you love your dog just as much as I do, then you'll want to memorialise them forever in a special piece of artwork to hang proudly in your home! And who better to complete this wonderful piece than the absolutely amazingly talented artist Jeff who we are ecstatic to welcome to the market for the first time. Capturing your beloved pet using ink, these portraits are absolutely amazing, so fully of personality, Jeff just has the ability to capture the character of your pup beautifully. A wonderful gift.
Fashion
Batch1: Independent and sustainable streetwear, perfect to throw on for casual weekend looks with your fave jeans. These soft organic cotton tees are designed and printed with original graphics in London by designer and founder Rodney using only water-based and environmentally friendly inks. Our fave designs feature comfort food classics, like the humble cheesy pizza, fish finger sarnie, cacio e pepe (niche and I love it!) and it wouldn’t be South London without mention of fried chicken too. Shop the collection of unisex tees and sweats in sizes XS-XXL from £25.
Handbags & Accessories
Slow May Studio: These sold out at last year's Christmas market! Maker Iyesha has made crochet highly covetable again with her handmade collection of checkerboard crochet accessories and homeware in the coolest colour combinations that are something straight from Copenhagen street style. Brand new for the market she'll have new striped plant hangers, striped bags and the cutest little star decorations which start from just £6.50! Her prices are all super competitive making this an excellent place to pick up pressies for your pals too.
Emily Davies: You've probably seen these all over your feed! A much-loved market favourite, ultimate cool girl Em is coming back to trade with us and bringing with her her brand new collection of bags and mini bag charms. Spending time trawling carboot sales and antique markets, she’s collected each piece of vintage fabric piece-by-piece, choosing only the most special colour combinations and textures (details you just can’t find on modern fabrics) then either turning it into a one-of-a-kind bag or an even cuter miniature version that you can clip to your bag as a charm. A bag for your bag!! It's a thing!
Jewellery
NEW! Kagatha: Inspired by vintage designs, this unique jewellery collection is wearable artwork crafted for the dreamers, the freethinkers, the poets, and the romantics. Born from the shared passion for craftmanship and self-expression, Kagatha is a converged creative initiative of Nepalese duo Appisha and Sushant. Their mission is simple; to create art and spread joy through their statement jewellery pieces.
Sorrell Jewels: It wouldn't be a market without our fave Emily who is your ultimate go to gal for vintage rings and charms. A visit to her stall is a deep dive in to a magical treasure chest of solid silver and gold goodies. Her curation is so unique, so special, her selection is unrivalled, at any given moment on market day she’s usually tending to 10 customers all trying on a myriad of different designs. Prices start from just £26 so there really is something for everyone and each item is one-of-a-kind so you have to be there on the day to bag your fave.
Chunky Charmz: If you've been trying to get your hands on one of Shin-Ah's viral chunky charms, then our market is the place to be! Because each one is intricately made by hand by Shin-Ah she can only ever create a limited number meaning they sell out in literally minutes at each online drop. Her charms are beloved for their charming chubby shape, and we love that she has a variety of shapes including our faves, the stars, which are suitably festive. She'll have a brand new collection of them dropping exclusively with us so be there or be square!
Kitty Joyas: Responsibly handmade in South London using recycled materials, Kitty’s jewellery is really something special and so perfect to gift to a beloved someone at Christmas. I think her brand new La Letra necklaces especially, which feature a handmade initial, would be a really thoughtful present. Each letter is based on Kitty's own handwriting meaning they all took months of refining and editing to get them just right. If you choose the option on a silk cord they start from just £135 but she has gemstone encrusted options that are a more premium choice too.
Roslyn Studio: When I first saw Ros’s jewellery I made the lazy presumption that these rings were plastic, their lustre and shape just seemed too good to be true! But actually, these beautiful little colourful sweeties are all handmade from glass! The incredibly talented Roslyn uses the technique of lamp-working, where she carefully heats and manipulates long glass rods around super high intensity flames, adding colour until she achieves the spectacular shape and design she’s after.

This compact is perfect to keep in your handbag and top-up with all day, a weighty little luxury that’s also zero plastic and perfect for travelling.
Palm of Feronia: Bestselling brand Palm Of Feronia returns to our market with their crystal charged, natural skincare for the soul. Formulated and blended by hand in South London by founder Soph, each product is rooted in ancient traditions and herbal lore. One of my favourite gift suggestions is Soph's bestselling Moonstone Sleep Spray which I literally can't sleep without. It does magical things to soothe a busy mind and send you off in to the most peaceful slumber. Everything is vegan and cruelty free.
Ceramics
NEW! Hoy Pottery: If colourful ceramics are your thing then don't miss maker Caroline's stall! She's brand new to the market and I guarantee you're going to love her. What draws me to Caroline's ceramics is that I think you can feel her passion for them through the big, bold and generous patterns she uses! Big spots, giant stripes, and cute smileys sprawl across each piece and I don't know about you, but they bring me such joy! My favourite is her clever wall hangers that I think would be perfect to house your toothbrush.
Made by Valkyrie: So popular are maker Eleri's ceramics, her mum had to do an emergency delivery of more stock at our last market! Featuring teeeeny tiny little cherries, dainty little love-hearts, pretty pink bows, handles shaped like hearts and the kindest words of love and affirmation, these handmade, limited edition and small batch beauties are ingrained in my mind forever. If you want to take one home or gift one you'll need to be at our market as most are sold out online.
Shiny Happy Pottery: After taking a taster class in pottery a few years ago, Emily instantly became hooked! And now spends her days in her little shed at the bottom of her garden in Bristol producing the sweetest ceramics we’ve ever seen. Using the traditional pinchpotting technique she cleverly makes items that are gorgeous to look at with a charming organic quality, feel incredible to hold, and can be used every day to bring a little extra joy into your routine. Our faves are her mugs which she labours over with a fine paintbrush to achieve the loveliest patterns and designs! The tiny tulips! My heart!
Simon Caffyn: Sophie and Rebekah make, hand carve and paint each one of their charming ceramics! Quite literally made with love at every step of the process. You guys go wild for their quaint and colourful seasonal food designs, especially the tomatoes, mushrooms and strawberries and carrots (which sold out at our last market!) Each piece is handmade in South London which of course we absolutely love, and this wonderful pair are not just super talented but also just gorgeously friendly too, the kind of babes you absolutely want to support with a purchase this winter.
Plop Pottery: I think good gifting means buying a more premium version of something than someone would usually have; Scarlett's mugs are an excellent example of this and make such a useful and wonderful gift. We’re so proud that iconic ceramicist Scarlett is travelling all the way down from Bristol to trade with us! Her small batch, handmade marbled ceramics have tonnes of wow-factor, especially her butter dish of dreams which has been celebrated by every it girl and magazine for its beauty and originality.
Art, Prints & Paper Goods
NEW! Mimi Dickson: The genius of South London artist Mimi Dickson! Her talent for creating the most incredible miniature tabletop artworks knows no bounds. Inspired by quarantine tablescapes, Mimi started to craft these idyllic scenes, featuring morning coffees, Sunday newspapers, tapered dinner candles, houseplants, even teeeeeeny tiny cutlery. A small celebration of time spent at home, with little else to do! Find the collection of original artworks, prints cards and more at our next market.
Goose Glitters: There are so many women we admire in our incredible small business community, and Laura, the incredible maker behind Goose Glitters is top of the list. For those of you who aren’t already obsessed too! Laura transforms vintage papers into delightful new collages which she uses to create a whole array of different paper products. She spends hours scouring car boot sales and vintage shops for old catalogues, cards, books and magazines, flicking through the pages to find the most interesting and fun images, cutting each one out by hand and then rearranging all the different elements into a new collage. It’s so clever and takes real time! But the results are absolutely worth it.
Neesh Home: These are always a best seller at the market! Neesh Home offers feel-good colourful homeware, capturing moments of everyday magic and moments shared between friends and family! And even better? They're all designed and drawn by her right here in South East London yes! Her stall is guaranteed to be loaded up with prints, teatowels and cards giving you loads of super giftable options to choose from.
Mainly Breakfast: Hackney-based food illustrator Emma’s illustrated seasonal food calendars are always a sell-out, they were a huge hit at last year's Christmas Market and so we're buzzing to welcome her back with a brand new design for 2025. What's so lovely about these is each month is stuffed full of her charming illustrations of foods that are in season that month, not only giving you a beautiful way to organise your days but a handy bit of inspiration for recipes.
Chin Chin Prints: Salad Days Market is all about celebrating the very best South London has to offer, which is why we absolutely love to work with our talented neighbour Chin Chin Prints. Illustrator and graphic designer Emily spent many years designing for globally renowned brands, before turning her talent into a small biz. Her iconic prints feature some of our most beloved local locations, and we need them all! Shop the collection including my favourite, the super chic vinyl stickers. And don’t forget to pick up her best selling ‘South Of The River' tote bag.

Camela Spice Co: One for the foodies. As a trained chef and avid historian in ancient culinary arts, maker Halle develops and manufactures traditionally-inspired spice blends. Inspired by her historical research, Halle unearths and revives flavours and spices that have been lost to time. She mills and blends each spice mix in house, and uses sustainable brown glass jars that are sealed-in with aluminium lids much like apothecaries centuries ago. Not sure how to best use them? They also create recipe guides offering advice on how to cook from scratch so you can make the most of their flavour and health benefits.
Bakery
NEW! Double Bluff Sprinkles: I am soo inspired when I look at everything amazing baker Lula makes. Look how beautiful these are! Home of the mosaic cake, Lula handmakes her edible mosaics and time consumingly decorates each delicious bake to resemble a piece of art. The results are breathtaking. Find individual Vegan cupcakes, and mosaic decorating kits, to try your hand at home yourself, at our next market!
Mr Desserts: The love we have for Moyin at Mr Deserts is actually unrivalled because he’s the nicest guy ever who brings the most delish, extravagant, chunky and luxurious cupcakes and cookies to our market. What’s not to fall in love with? The Birthday Cake, the Cookies and Cream… I just need you to tell me you’re going to come to the market and try one. Moyin is fanatical about his ingredients and baking process, only using the best of the best to ensure these baked goods are 10/10 every single time and we can confirm he absolutely achieves this.
