Talk and Tell have the cutest tech accessories, stationery and more all designed by lovely founder and small biz owner Chloe. You'll definitely find cute stocking fillers here.
We Are Paradise: Tyanna is the proud owner of Paradise, a small biz dedicated to crafting the cutest crochet bags handmade using recycled T-shirt yarn. Drawing inspiration from her roots in a serene Guyanese village, Paradise isn't just a name; it's a symbol of purpose and inspiration. The multi-coloured Chic bag is my personal fave; the gradient colours look like a sunset and would be the ideal gift for a beloved friend or sister.
Jewellery
NEW! Any Other Kingdom: This independent brand crafts perfectly imperfect jewellery without focus on seasons or trends. The organic textures maker Annie teases metal into references geological formations, the coalescing of celestial bodies and the structure of cells. Bringing together narrative and texture, her creations embody a reminder of our interconnected and interwoven place in the universe. In beautifully unusual sculptural shapes these precious pieces do look otherworldly and unlike anything else we've seen before!
Mikaela Lyons: You’ll notice a lot of Mikaela’s designs feature her iconic lioness head. The animal inspired her first collection in 2017, a symbol of strength, identity and equality, a reminder of her choice to keep her maiden name ‘Lyons’ after she got married. The bestselling icon remains just as important today as it was then! Each of her pieces is responsibly and lovingly made in England, meaning when you shop with her you’re helping to support traditional crafts. Brand new for the market, shop the Twisted T-Bar earrings for the first time!
Forage & Find: Join us as we jump up and down excitedly! We are thrilled to welcome the amazing Forage and Find to our market line up. Known for curating the most spectacular selection of vintage and antique jewellery. Every piece is solid gold, carefully chosen and equisitely amazing. Expect to find many special, sparkly and beautiful treasures, all, of course, one of a kind. We absolutely can't wait to see what they'll have at their market stall.
Manom Jewellery: Prepare to be mesmerised at maker Mayo’s stall. This South London jeweller is a master at creating the most mind-blowingly intricate jewellery that’s steeped fairytale references. Tiny opening doors, minuscule moons, romantic pearls, and miniature painted scenescapes all add up to create pieces that truly have the wow factor, full of wonder and magic. Exactly the sort of thing that would make a special gift.
Skincare & Beauty
NEW! LoveRems: Brand new to the market! LoveRems is a natural skincare brand created after maker Remi dealt with skin issues for many years. She experienced terrible eczema and was determined to find a natural solution that would help her skin heal naturally. So created her own! These gorgeous products are designed specifically for sensitive skin and eczema but are still suitable for all skin types and span a variety of products including body butter, body scrub, bath salts, soap and more.
Ruva Skincare: Ruva Skincare founder Ruth is a certified natural skincare formulator, who's mission is to help her customers achieve their best skin to leave them feeling their most confident. Celebrating her Zimbabwean origins, Ruth harnesses the power of African botanicals like shea butter to create simple and mission driven products that really work.
Ceramics
NEW! Sisterhood Stores: Hannah designs the most beautiful homeware, spanning everything from splatter ceramics (the things of my dreams!) to beautifully scented candles, chic glassware, striped textiles and cute bits and bobs for the home. Her stall will be your one-stop-shop to pick up lovely and unique items for every room in your home, and these divine pieces are also super giftable. IMHO her splatter ceramics are her most iconic pieces, and she has them in a range of styles, shapes and colours so you can dress your table for Christmas and beyond. I want one of the utensil pots, or a giant frilly bowl.
NEW! Anna Soba: Brand new to the market! Cat girlies, unite! Maker Anna's illustrations and ceramics centre around her beloved character: a cute lil black cat, so these will be right up your street. It's so clever that Anna has managed to translate her gorgeous illustrations onto each of her hand-built ceramics, making each one a usable piece of artwork for your home.
NEW! Lazy Muck: Brand new to the market! Don't start the festive season without a new mug to enjoy hot chocolates and steaming coffees from. I highly recommend the colourful pieces from Lazy Muck who'll be trading with us at our next market. The gorgeous spaltter technique Helen uses to decorate each one reminds me of spray painted graffiti and I think it's so unique!
We Are Clay: If you know me and Daisy, you’ll know how important the symbol of the spiral has become to us. A representation of growth! So of course on discovering the gorgeous work of ceramic artist Suzy Solley we were rather excited! After a decade long career in academia and research, Suzy has recently become a full time potter, spending her days discovering her own personal style and learning new techniques through lots of trial and error. Inspired by puzzles, infinity shapes and Celtic designs from her homeland of Scotland, her unique and sculptural pieces are just so gorgeous.
Toast Studios: If country music and cowgirl boots have got you enthralled and excited recently then we’re absolutely thrilled to introduce you to Toast Studios. This small batch, independent ceramics studio is run by Evie all the way up in Birmingham! So we couldn’t be more chuffed they’ll be travelling all the way to South London to trade with us. Evie who a classically trained arts historian, creates functional pieces with a focus on sustainability, accessibility, self expression and queerness. I predict the cowgirl boot match strikers are going to be a bestseller, they'd make such a cute gift or stocking filler.
Art, Prints & Paper Goods
Sarah Goodwin: Sarah Goodwin is a South London based artist and print designer who loves painting classic, timeless motifs in bold and unusual colour combinations. These original works of art go on to become beautiful paper goods and giclée prints which are available at our next market. Concerned with only providing the highest quality products, everything is printed in London on velvet-textured paper from an 18th century English mill. Sarah hopes to bring colour, joy and a creative twist to your home decor.
Poppy Illustrates: Viral wall art, cards and other paper goods inspired by all things nice! Shop artist Poppy Wright’s bold and colourful artwork at our next market. Featuring retro fonts, your favourite cocktails, inspiring messages and more, there’s something for everyone in this impressive selection, all designed by the lovely Poppy. Especially for the market shop brand new handpainted and limited edition baubles, teatowels and Christmas cards alongside the bestselling South London prints.
Natalia Bagniewska: As seen in Liberty London and Anna + Nina. Sometimes I have to pinch myself that we get to work with such incredibly talented people like Natalia Bagniewska at Salad Days Market, and I really couldn’t feel more proud! Awash with giant strokes of colour and generous curvy shapes, established artist Natalia cleverly captures the little joys in every day life and happy moments in nature within her gorgeous work, sure to brighten up any space within your home. I have two of her prints in my kitchen and always get compliments on them.
Claire Paul: Claire is a Scottish illustrator who’s based in Cornwall, so is it any wonder she’s inspired by the beautiful nature she’s been surrounded with! The colourful abstract shapes within her landscapes just inspire the most serene tranquillity. Find stylish cards, prints, pin badges, notepads, washi tape and other paper goods at her market stall. My personal favourite is her keyrings which are so so cute - I got a cherry last Christmas and will be looking for a second to join him!
Homeware
Twenty Hounds: Rarely does a cushion stop me in my tracks, but I was struck like a lightning bolt and rendered speechless by Twenty Hound’s outstanding cushys, it was love at first sight! And of course I had to buy a pair last time we traded together, which now sit proudly on my bed. Founder Annie handmakes these beauties using upholstery offcuts in London. Full of texture, rich colours and delight, the craftsmanship is second to none. Plus find new Christmas decorations launching on the day too.
Cloth & Clay: From beautiful aprons, napkins, bunting and other practical homeware, we love the everyday linens that elevate your home from wonderful market favourite Cloth And Clay. These classic and timeless designs are the absolute staple your home needs, each lovingly handmade by Charlotte in London in a selection of colours and stripes. New for the market: Linen Christmas tree bows, and ceramic pieces including the most fabulous salt pigs.
Dolly Rocket: Content creator Sara Brown will be bringing her much-loved homeware and fashion brand to our next market and we are soooo excited! A master with colour and pattern, Sara cleverly translates her iconic and recognisable personal style through each of her products, including her best-selling wiggly coasters as seen in House & Garden. I see Sara as someone who wears many hats; content creator, stylist, fashion designer, product designer, artist. So it’s always an absolute thrill to see what beautiful new things she’ll create next.
Stationery
NEW! Pines n Prints: So so cute and brand new to the market! Pines N prints is an illustration studio and shop that aims to encourage others to find the little joys in everyday life, through lighthearted illustrations and original characters. Dogs
NEW! When Dogs: London-based brand When Dogs creates the cutest and funnest pet accessories... that also come with matching versions for you! Each piece is made with high-quality fabrics to ensure they’re both stylish and durable for your beloved pets. Jessica will be showcasing her first Christmas collection at Salad Days, featuring fun holiday accessories in a combination of plaid, wool, and velvet fabrics, as well as Christmas-themed prints. My heart can't handle the cuteness!
Kids
Conkers Handknits: I can’t think of anything more perfect to gift the little one in your life this Christmas than these children’s knits which are each handmade in London by maker Katy. Take your pick from tiny soldiers, lobsters, robins, dinosaurs and more! These designs are so cute, traditional and make your heart melt, the kind that will be passed down and remembered through the generations. They’re all made using 100% cotton wool so they’re machine washable too, even better.
Deli Items
Cranston Pickles: Essential for Christmas! Home to the very best homemade pickles and chutneys. Maker Fiona will be bringing a range of delicious pickly goods, all handmade using fresh herbs and spices, to our next market. Inspired by her grandparents Rowland and Sylvia who always made their own preserves back in the day, these are perfect for gifting and hampers. Minimal ingredients, no weird ultra processed things and all expertly crafted (and of course, delicious) Do not miss these! And make sure you get her pickled eggs! They are divoon.
Spicy Ryes: Rye's infectious energy and the way he started his business is so inspiring, it’s people like him that continue to make us so excited about the small biz world. Growing fruit and veg down at the allotment, he decided to start turning them into his very own sauces and so began a passionate endeavour to make hot sauces that enhance every meal. He now has 14 varieties, all made using totally natural ingredients with no added nasties, ranging from mild to wild depending on the heat level you prefer. They can be used to glaze, marinade, pour or dip and there will be brand new Christms gift sets at the next market perfect for gifting and hampers too.
Stargazy: I absolutely cannot wait to get my paws on another bottle of Stargazy which is blended and bottled down on the coast at St Ives. Founded by the lovely Melinda, it’s a smooth blend of aged rum, caramel, Cornish sea salt and gorse flower which is a shrub that has naturally occurring coconut and vanilla flavours. And it tastes as good as it sounds. You can enjoy your tipple straight over ice or blended into a cocktail, but my dream is to pour it into an affogato. And with its gorgeous metallic label I think this ultra chic bottle would make a gorgeous gift too.
Oat Avenue: As sold in Selfridges and Ocado. The UK’s first granola butter is coming to the market and we couldn’t be more intrigued and excited. Realising that there was a huge gap in the market for nut-free spreads, partners Iva and Thiviyan decided to launch their own brand. Much like nut butter but without the nuts, it’s made with oats instead meaning it’s free from the top 14 allergens, school friendly and high in fibre. Available in four different flavours including chocolate and chai spice. Perfect for festive hampers.
Bakery
Brit’s Bakes: If you’ve got a sweet tooth then look away now. Specialising in the most delicious and delectable looking creative cakes, bakes and her bestselling cookie pie omgggg, get excited because Brits Bakes is taking part in our next market inside Battersea Power Station, where you’ll find her and a selection of incredible sweet treats to buy and enjoy. Chunky brownies, brookies, fancy iced cakes by the slice and soo much more, available till sell out!
Farine Kitchen: Having spent months perfecting their recipes, South London sissies Elisia and Niamh launched their blondie and brownie biz: Farine! With part-French heritage it’s little surprise that these freshly baked treats are absolutely divine. At the market you will of course find their sell-out brownies, but also limited edition flavours of their bestselling brownie mix to bake at home as well as jars of the new miso caramel which would both be amazing additions to any Christmas hampers you’re working on.
