What makes our market so special?
Our community
The best thing about Salad Days Market? The incredible community that’s grown organically around it! From our friendly locals who turn up to every single one of our events, to the talented makers we work with again and again; our community is what drives us forward and makes us so proud. We’d love you to be part of it.
Our connections
We’ve spent years building relationships to ensure we are on the radar of all major press, retailers and influencers and have been featured by Vogue, Sunday Times Style, Refinery29, House & Garden magazine and more. Department stores Liberty and Selfridges source brands directly from us; former stallholders have gone on to be stocked in both, and we have hosted three pop-ups inside Selfridges.
Our curation
Our award-winning markets are highly curated. We’re known for putting together the most original, unique and interesting line-ups featuring new and exclusive items from a breadth of different categories. We look high and low to uncover the most amazing makers from around the world, to make sure all of our events are exciting to shop.
Our audience
Our combination of real life and online events means we’re able to reach a huge global audience. Our real life events have a strong following and regularly attract more than 1000 attendees. Some have even travelled across the world to visit us! Our audience is highly engaged; they actively want to discover and shop with indie brands.
Our expertise
With backgrounds in ecommerce, content, marketing and visual merchandising, we have a combined twenty years’ experience in fashion and retail. From social media to market stall layouts; the knowledge we’ve built up working for major high street brands like ASOS, River Island, H&M and Selfridges sets us apart from the other markets. We know what customers want, and we know how to help small brands deliver that.
Our passion
Quite simply, we absolutely love what we do. We are so passionate about the market, about keeping traditional skills alive, about propelling small brands forward, about helping our local community thrive, and about doing things as sustainably as possible. We genuinely live, eat and breathe Salad Days Market.
